Looking for an oil pan for easier and cleaner oil changes. I read in the FAQ that a FE engine rear-sump oil pan would accomplish this?
Any drawbacks of making this change? Reduced ground clearance?
By changing the pan, is there anything else that also needs to be changed? I've never swapped pan designs before.
Would this be the correct pan?

A piece of cardboard from the case of oil you bought works best
Factory rear sump pans will hit the steering linkage
You would also need the
dip stick
dip stick tube
rear sump pick up tube
Main bolt with the stud for the pick up tube
Might try the boat pan or one from an industrial engine

I also don’t think that is a rear sump pan...

You could just install a drain plug valve and hose. https://fordification.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=65249
