It has been few years since I picked up my high boy. Got it running then it kinda sat on the back burner as I got more into motorcycles. I’m finally circling around to my first love, my 72 high boy.
The 360 it has in it has push rod noise and was about as gutless as it gets. I ended up with a fresh built 460, complete with fe-> 385 motor mounts, tight headers and a trash carb or $1,700. Trying to track down a 460 bell housing next, then pick up a clutch, flywheel, DUI distributor and a starter. I’ll be postin pics once I get things situated in the shop. I did start ceramic coating as a side job, so I’ll be coating my headers and once I buy a better intake I’ll pull the motor again and coat it up real nice.

Got my 460 and did some coatings on it. Hoping to have it in the truck next week. Went with L&L clutch and flywheel, Holley sniper efi carb, Holley sniper distributor that sets my timing, and a set of custom headers. I’ll upload pics when I’m on a computer.

Thanks. Got the boat anchor out and cleaning the engine bay up. Hoping to have the 460 at least mounted in by Friday.
