I really need some insight (pictures), haha.. to where I need to router vacuum lines from my Edelbrock carb to the engine....?
I am new to Ford, and repairing this old girl has been rough!

This site is focused on bump era Ford pickup trucks (1967 to 1972). You will have much better response and help with your '83 truck if you try a different site. I suggest you check out: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum37/ and post your question there. First, Idaho Chris is correct. We focus on the '67 - 72 Ford "Bumps."
However, to answer your question further, your carb doesn't need vacuum lines TO the engine. Your Edelbrock has vacuum ports that can be used by other components that NEED a vacuum source. Our trucks are pretty simple: auto transmission vacuum line to the intake manifold, PCV to the carb or air filter, brake booster to the intake manifold or back of the carb (there is a port on the Edelbrock), and distributor to the front of the carb (ported or manifold, depending on what school of thought you belong to).
Ta-da! That's it! For an '83, you need to find out what needs a vacuum source. From there, we can give you pointers.
