300 six fuel injection manifolds starter clearence
So I just recently reinstalled my 300 six back in my 67 highboy after a fresh gasket kit and new camshaft and i thought I'd upgrade to the fuel injection exhaust manifolds so I can get dual exhaust on my truck. So I sourced a set for 20 bucks with the down pipes connected still down to the 02 sensor boss which was welded between the 2 pipes and tied them together. This setup came from what I believe was a 94f150. So I gut the 02 boss off which tied the pipes together cause it was cracked and unnecessary because im running a 4 barrel carb on this engine. When I dropped the engine in today I noticed the rear manifold exhaust pipe is very close to my starter right where the wire attatches. It also aims down into the c channel of the frame. Has anyone done this setup and had similar problems. I do not have a pipe bender so if I can't figure out a way to go then I got pay a friend of mine to run the exhaust system for me which im a cheap ass I don't wanna do that. As always any info is greatly appreciated.

Did you look at a '94 starter? maybe they're smaller.

Looking under my work's '93 300, it has 3" or so of space between the starter and pipes-the starter is around 3 1/8" in diameter. You could also heat wrap the starter and or the pipes.
