The water pump started grumbling so I pulled it to replace. I noticed (after taking them all out) one bolt is a little different than the others. I assume the oddball goes in the one hole that is exposed to the coolant passageway (maybe somebody had it apart before and threw the wrong bolt in; no clue). Anyway, assuming it's an original bolt that goes there, anybody know why it has what appears to be plastic embedded in it? Not sure I've seen anything like that. Maybe to allow easier sealing around bolt head, the plastic acts as a lock instead of using a split washer?
Also looking for torque specs for brackets and other accessories hanging on the front of engine. I could only find the water pump bolt and fan pulley bolt torques. Truck has AC and power steering (what a mess of brackets it is).
Thanks.

That one on the right is not correct. You can find a generic torque charts based on bolt size on the internet if you need specs.

Re: Water Pump Bolts
Thanks. I have it mostly put back together now. I did have some trouble with getting the brackets to line up right, but after fiddling with it for awhile, things lined up.

So what bolt did you end up using to replace the right one I just noticed that I have 3 of the ones from the pic you posted but can’t find another like them

Re: Water Pump Bolts
Sorry for late reply. I don’t seem to get any notice when someone posts to my threads. I need to change some settings I think.
For the bolt, I just put back the one that came out using RTV sealant. No problems with leaks.
