Re: EFI Which one?
I'd probably sell the '75 engine and install a '89 F150 complete 5.0 combo with a C6 spec 50 oz imbalance flywheel. Speed density will handle roller rockers and a 5.0 Mustang cam without issue and they actually compliment the big bore long runner truck EFI intake. Wiring and fuel it pretty easy and you end up with parts house part availability versus mail order from the manufacturer that will leave you sitting on the roadside when it craps out or becomes obsolete in ten years.

Pretty funny. We plod around in 50-year-old trucks, where EVERYTHING is obsolete, and you're looking at the next ten years! Sorry, it just struck me funny (humorous, not odd).

Re: EFI Which one?
Manufacturers have planned obsolescence, I have planned replenishment. That's why I installed a Sterling 10.25" rear and bought a pair of disc rotors before they become obsolete for my truck. Engine is a Cummins 6bt, trans a '94 Dodge. Parts will be available for a good long time. Sadly I also have a Chinese sourced PS box that sucks.
Per the aftermarket crap, how many replacement distributor modules are still around? I have a window style Malory in my '68 Fairlane that's been out of production for 25 years. Kind of suck for it to die along the side of the road except that I can retrograde back to points with a screw driver.
