OP, original poster...

I've had trouble with the liquid Teflon not setting up and coolant or oil leaking thru it.

"72bumbee"]I've looked at most major parts places and catalogues...

I've looked at junk yards...

I've looked at Ford dealerships...

Can YOU help?

This is the cause of the coolant leak and the threaded stalk is now so corroded that pipe goop cant even help it.

I have a used one here, (same two port wye fitting) that I pulled out of my 71' 360.
I'll dig it out this afternoon.

Not sure where “here” is, but would would love to see it. I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that not a single classic auto parts distribution warehouse has one... I have my old one out and coolant all drained.
You think I should put the sealant on the threads then put it back? I also have a tube of thread sealant also mentioned above, maybe put that on also? If I had a welder, I’d drop a bead around the base!! Haha!

I have cleaned it and brushed it and put high temp thread sealer on it and put it back in today. Just waiting for everything to cure nicely and will refill the coolant.
My betrothed is done letting me use the driveway for now!
I will wait patiently and see if any of the used ones come available in the short future and replace it at a later date. I think with the new hose and clamps and thread sealer, I might be good for awhile!
Thanks again for ALL the help! Each and every one of you had very legitimate and helpful input!! :fr:

P-bucket stopped. They are still trying to get less money but released the hold on 3rd person hosting.

Jamie, it's just a shame they waited until "a day late and a dollar short" as I'll never go back to them.
I had literally hundreds if not a thousand hours on their page maintaining my images to tell a story. I refuse to waste one more minute of my precious time on them ever again as they made it evident my time was of no value whatsoever to them.
Now...where's that PB stinks emoji LOL! :fte:

I keep all my images on google or Microsoft, then just resize the ones I want to use here...
I also have a terabyte external drive...
So don't pay for space.
Anyway, I put that thread sealer on it yesterday and and last night before coming in, I went out and the glob of sealant around the base was still moist and liquified.. is this normal?

If you made it too thick it'll take longer to cure. Give it time.

I’ll take the least corroded of the two, as you can see mine is pretty rotted in the lower tube.

I just sold another part to a guy in McMinnville Oregon the other day! I'll take a picture of them since I've sandblasted them and send you a picture. Shipping for the last part I sent to McMinnville was 11.00 and it was about twice the weight of these fittings so it should be less.
