Manual steering 2 power
I have a 1969 f 100 with manual steering. I got the gear box, pump. pitman arm, drag link and the tie rod bar. from a 1971 f 100 both have 302 engines. Do I pull out my manual steering and lay it along side of the power tie rod bar and drag link and adjust to the manual so I can get it to the tire shop so they can fine tune it? Any help will be great. Thank you.

I'm pretty sure it's all gonna change, (tie rod orientation) due to the power steering box and pitman arm orientation."jf100"]I have a 1969 f 100 with manual steering. Clean up the end tie rod threads well with wire wheel, (and the drag link as well) and you can easily set the toe in-toe out with a tape measure good enough to get it to a shop to have it aligned, (which you should regardless if you have decent tires on the truck).

You don't need to change the drag link. Just attach the pitman arm in the same position as the old one. I converted mine years ago and it has worked perfectly ever since

You didn't mention it, but the PS box is bigger than the manual box, so you'll need a shorter steering column as well (or so I've read; I haven't done this conversion myself yet).
