Fuel Pressure Regulator?

Anyone Using a fuel-pressure regulator/limiter? If so, what are you using?

Also, my vacuum gauge (and probably yours, too) has a scale for checking the fuel pressure. How do I use it? I can't just tee off the fuel line, can I?

Yes you can put a T in the fuel line up by the carb to use your vacuum/pressure gauge to check the fuel pressure. I am running a Carter 6676 mechanical pump that puts out 9 PSI. The Edelbrock 1406 on my truck would flood and begin to sputter at full throttle so I had to add a pressure regulator and a gauge to get it down below 6 psi. I used a Holly 12-803 regulator (4 1/2 - 9 PSI) with a Summit liquid filled gauge between the regulator and the carb. I keep the pressure set at 4 1/2 - 5 which, works well for my motor/carb combo.
