My rebuild project had one Woodruff Key in the crankshaft. This is great for the timing gear, but it,s not long enough for the harmonic balancer. My basic question is, did Ford use two separate Woodruff Keys on the FE engines? My second question is, does the curve go towards the harmonic balancer, or towards the crank?
Thanks,
Joseph

Curve goes toward the crank. Can't answer the other question for an FE, but on a 351, there's a single key to handle both.

Re: Woodruff Keys on Cranshaft Questions
Does anyone know how long the key stock should be? I know my local True Value carries pre-cut sizes, but I'll have to go in there with a ruler and my harmonic balancer.

Just buy a 3 inch piece and cut off what you need
