For those who installed the mustang fuel tank.

Post by GrumpsGarage »

I installed a fuel tank from a 69 mustang between the frame wells. For those who installed these tanks, is there a need for a vent line? My filler will come straight out the bed floor.

Thanks for the reply, was it an issue with fuel starvation, or just fuel wanting to come out the filler during acceleration?

The tank would build to much pressure not being vented. It would start to cause hesitation on me.

You don't need a vent line, just run a vented cap.
