Well, this actually brings the total to four, my 68 f250, now the 72 f100, and two 79 broncos. And that's just the trucks! I also have two 57 Ford Fairlane 500 convertibles! Not many people can have this many vehicles at my age.

Well, it's finally happening! This truck is going to be painted by the end of June. After getting a quote of 5-6 thousand to paint the truck, I decided that between myself, my dad, and grandpa, we will do it ourselves. I have been sanding on it for the past few days after work, and I'm almost done with the cab at this point.

I also found a nice set of doors that came from Nevada. They need a few holes filled and a little filler, but they are straight and rust free.

I won't do anymore on the cab until the box is off. Hopefully I can get a large part of the box sanded tomorrow.

After the Memorial Day parade, I finished sanding the left bedside and welded up the multiple holes in each door from who knows how many different mirrors.

Not much to report on today, but I managed to get the windshield and rear window pulled out of it. I already have a better windshield for it, but am looking for a rear window. Does anyone have a guess as to how much it would cost to have a rear made up? It shouldn't be too bad since it's just a flat piece right?

I've taken a few days off from sanding, but I'm getting really close. The truck is going to be painted the original harbor blue.

Yes restrictions on power tools necessary there. I can't wait to see it harbor blue that is gonna be sweet. You should have it flat. What you doing epoxy primer, sealer, base clear, Single stage????

I'm not 100% sure on what type of paint that will be going on it. I still have to get in contact with a family friend that paints cars for a living to see what paint he would recommend for what I want to achieve. I won't be able to do anything to the truck for a while since I'll be out of state until the 16th on a road trip/ camping trip.

unless you really like to put the elbow grease to it.......do not epoxy(primer) your whole truck...use a high build blocking primer. I epoxied the inside of my cab...thought my frickin arm's we're going to fall off

I wish you were closer to me I have a standard window brand new and a used sliding window to donate. Shipping would be a killer though.
