I just went through pics of an old near by speedway on there fb page. I was told that after that the truck.pushed cars at the cop yard.
??? Wouldnt they drive em around the cop yard?
Idk. Maybe when i go to sand itll tell.me something.

Im leaning towards the one right behind the guy in the pink hat. The other ones have split windows. Mines ones piece of glass. Also the white one looks like the grill is white. Mines aluminum.

Should be getting my truck back tomorrow!!!! Already tried.to pick.it up once and.it.died an hr later. Wasnt getting gas so we think the pump went out. Two pumps later cuz they didnt include the adapters in the 1st one...
Thing is costing me an arm and a leg but will be super kool when its done.

Home from the shop. Safe and sound. Now to gain all that momentum back and get to work!

Truck got.me to work and back. Niether i nor thr truck caught fire or fell apart. So thats a +
List of things fixed by the shop.
New blinker directional switch
New fuel pump
New vaccum modulator
New water pump
New drivers side radius arm bushing.
Fixed tran cooler lines so they dont rub.
Fixed wiring so i have all running lights and brakes.
Trans flush and replace filters and gaskets.
Flush brake fluid and replaced

Truck shifts in all gears now and has park
Little late on the shifting so ill need a tranny when i get a new motor.

I supplied some parts they couldnt get or find...
Got taken to the ground on labor for a lack of more.colorful words. Lol

They had it for probably two months and the fuel problem happened after the 1st time i picked it up. Not sure if they are good at fixing cars or just putting new parts on.
Mechanic left his screwdriver under my hood. A power probe still hooked up to the electrical and his zipties in the crevice of the seat. Lol.

Still need a new radiator. New wheel bearing. And new gasket at the rear of the tranny where the driveline goes.
That and scraping paint is where im at.

The pic i posted of the guy in the pink hat....well ive come to the conclusion that is my truck. The blue one right behind him.
Ive got the same dent in my chrome tailgate trim and i can see blue where someone has painted white over it. Ill be giving my truck a 4th paint job. Lol.

I took the tools back...
I h8 my truck right now. It is not ready to be drivin! Hard to start 2nd time when warm. :/ slow to no chugs.

Earlier today it was the rotor tab had been pushed down and a little over. Today im just done with it.

Trying not to focus on the bad right now. Looking at the good. Got a carb rebuild kit today and a gallon can of chem.dip i think it is. New rotor tab thingy.
Also ordered new brake pedal pad and brake master cylinder off ebay. My clinder i think is.leaking through to my floor. Lol.
Also picking up two cans of sound/heat damper material. Spray can style. Hope it works well.

Old guy at work is.gonna help me tune it when im done with the carb rebuild. Also i need to fix my passenger side window. New radiator. New driver side wheel bearing or hub. Something is allowing that wheel slop. So lots of work to be done. Back to square 1. Vaccum leaks. Charging. I know its getting gas!

Ugh that picture makes a guy sick. Mine left me stranded a while ago just a few miles from my house so I hiked home. Keep plugging away at it before long everything will be fixed. Half the fun is working and tinkering with our trucks....well maybe less than half

Ur right about everything getting fixed! Or frizd....
Ur also right about working on em being half the fun. Thats what i get for trying to get a jump on my build and thinking it was drivable. I do enjoy the time fixing and making things right or better on it.

Got a soder gun. Soder. And some heatshrink at hellmart today. Can i use a lighter to shrink?
Also two can of boom mat! Now to enjoy my two days off as long as work dosent call me in tomorrow.

Im compiling a lot of parts and supplies to work on the truck. Doing a carb rebuild now. Gotta.still.work the start/charge system i guess cuz the truck will start when cold and run. U can warm up. Idle but turn.off and hard to start. Like.slow chug. Low battery or something.

Not really.sure what this is. Some type of choke.on my carb.




Some bent up ish on my throttle cable and some other thing.
