I've been in a out of so many sites my head is spinning. I am trying to figure out if a dana rear axle from a 2004 chevy savanna express van would fit under my 1970 F250. I cant seem to find the width of the van axle. If the with is ok I am ok if perchs need to be moved. What would my options be for tires? Surely my current wheels wont fit.
What do you guys think?
Thanks,
Max

Re: Dana from chevy express van
I just came across one for sale and it made me start thinking. Disc brake ready.
Originally I was going to measure up the axle of my 1977 F250 parts truck.

OK, don't see any real benefit to using one from that source. Probably a different bolt pattern, overall length, perch location and U joint. Seems a lot of work for the results.
