passing gear
I have a quick question. I built a 302 and it has a weber carb and I can't seem to find a passing or kickdown bracket for it . Do they make one or do I have to make my own ? Any ideas for a fix?

Weber... Methinks you'll need to fab one up. You'll need to get the lever length off a 2100 so the geometry is correct.

I actually have a kickdown bar from a 2100. You think cutting the end off and welding a homemade piece that adapts to the weber us as good as I am going to find.

Re: passing gear
Edelbrock makes a few kickdown brackets, maybe one of those will work, but you will still need to get a cable system to work with it, i think Locker make one.

Post up an Edel carb that does Ford kickdown, I couldn't find one a couple months ago. Lots of Cheby stuff but no Ford.windhamdw wrote:Edelbrock makes a few kickdown brackets, maybe one of those will work, but you will still need to get a cable system to work with it, i think Locker make one.

not sure which one will work thats why i put maybe one will work, but i don't think you will need a bracket if you use the lokar kickdown cable (Lokar KD-20C6HT Ford C6).

Re: passing gear
I just ordered this one for mine, http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ford-C6-Stainle ... 2058129935
for $30 it looks just like the Lokar but a lot cheaper.
