Oil in coolant

Ok,
fresh rebuilt 390 and I'm getting oil in the coolant. I'm thinking it may be the intake manifold. I put a Edelbrock Performer on.
Thoughts and ideas appreciated.

Is it an automatic?

What does the engine oil and transmission fluid dipsticks look like?

How much oil...?

It is an automatic.
Tranny fluid is clear.
Oil is looking good.
Makes the coolant milky.

My first thought is head gasket(s). Why do you suspect the Edelbrock manifold?

There is a known issue with a very small number of 390 blocks where the feed to the heads would develop a crack and leak oil to the coolant. There is also a known documented repair that utilizes a SBC pushrod? to be swedged into the hole.

Search the Fordfe.com sight for this.

If it is oil in the coolant, there are very few scenerios where this will happen outside of a cracked block or tranny issue. The oil would have to come directly from a pressurized passage. Remember, the coolant is under pressure as well. Head gasket issues will send coolant into the oil or out the exhaust, but not likely oil into the coolant. Same with intake gaskets.

Do you have normal coolant pressure?

Yeah, I don't have a pressure gauge on the coolant. Either way, this is definitely not a good thing. The motor runs fine, keeps a constant 200/210°f
Oil pressure is good. I'm keeping a close watch on it for now, I'll post updates if I find the issue. Wish me luck. :(

Odds are that the galley that feeds oil to the heads has a crack
And yes it can be fixed by sleeving with a sbc push rod
