Parking brake cable back on lever

Post by Canonman67 »

So in trying to bleed the brakes I end up doing the rear brakes (don't ask). I have the passenger side apart and am having trouble getting the lever back on the cable. Is there a trick to it that I'm missing? I can't seem to get the spring back far enough to hang the lever back on. It pretty much fell of when I finally got it off.

You just have to overpower the spring, try pulling it back with vice grips.

Depending on your park brake use , you could leave it off. :2cents:

Okay, so it's just brute force. I spend too much time in the hills to leave it off. Thanks
