69 F250 C6 backup light adjustment

69 F250 C6 backup light adjustment
Just replaced steering column collar and turn signal switch. The backup lights work but I need help syncing them with the reverse gear in position (if that makes sense). I had to adjust NSS to get truck to start in P or N. Not a problem there but I have never had back up lights in R position even before I did the work. Thanks.
