Power Steering for 1971 F250

Post by mulletmobile »

Looking for any/all parts to convert to power steering for my 71. Prefer local parts in the Sacramento, CA area but willing to travel and pull the parts myself. Let me know what you have.

You might need to post a little more info on your truck. Engine type and size.....trans type and present steering configuration may all play into what parts are actually needed for the swap. Identifying your steering gearbox will also help. That info will help folks figure out if they have what you need.

All of those might help huh? My error, thought my signature line was completed.

Looking for power steering conversion parts for a 1971 F250 with a 360 2wd. I have manual now so I need it all. Column (prefer the 70-72 but would take newer), engine pulley, bracket, pump, steering gear box, and any other linkages I may need.

May have just solved the issue, found one being parted out a couple of hours away. Looks like I should be getting all the parts off of a 72 F-250 that is being parted out for a whopping $75! At that price point I am not going to argue how greasy they may be. Most of it is off of the truck already and I do not have to turn a single wrench to remove it.
