69 and 72 F100 drivetrain compatibility

Post by Dylan518 »

Ok recently came across 3 speed column shifter linkage rods out of a 69 f100. Is there any reason that these would not fit my 72 f100?

Thanks
Dylan

If the transmissions are the same the rods are too.

I thought so. Are all of the 3.03 ford transmissions the same "shell" or do the lever locations and dimensions change?

To my knowledge all truck 3.03's have the same linkage and levers.
