87 Econoline Rear Enc

Post by jf100 »

I have a 69 F100 Custom Cab, 302 C-4 Trans. I have a 9" rear end. I have heard that I can put in an 87 e-150 Econoline rear end into the truck with no problem is this true? I am wanting to put disc brakes all the way around and I was told that this way would be the best way to go.

I'm pretty sure Ford was still using drums with the exception of the F450's Dana 80 in '87. Maybe in '97 but somewhere in there Ford went 6 lug and metric pattern.

Per the van I'd be concerned about the spring perch width vs. our trucks.
