Four speed and 352 swap
I have a 1969 F250 with a C6 in it now. I just acquired a 1967 F350 with a 352 and four speed in it. I'd like to swap the motor and trans into my 69, will the driveshaft work from the 67? Both use two piece drive shafts with a carrier bearing.

Re: Four speed and 352 swap
The 4 speed in my '68 highboy has a fixed yoke output and IIRC from the bone yard I think the 2x4 4 speed does as well,my best guess is that ti's shorter than the C-6 also

Re: Four speed and 352 swap
Should work fine. You might have to relocate the trans crossmember. The F350 should have the taller frame and it's crossmember sits on a perch where the 250 sits on the lower lip of the frame rails. My best advices is to keep everything until the swap is complete.hotrod69 wrote:I have a 1969 F250 with a C6 in it now. I just acquired a 1967 F350 with a 352 and four speed in it.
