rack and pinion swop

Post by Mudbream »

Hi
I am building up a 1974 f100 and have replaced the front suspension with a 2004 Crown Vic front end. I am based in South Africa, and therefore need to convert the left hand drive rack and pinion to right hand drive. Are there any other vehicles racks that are compatible e.g. Newer Ford Ranger etc. If not, do you have any suggestions.

I don't have a good answer for you, but a suggestion where to find a good answer... ;)

Get online with some Australian car sites and work with them.

I think if you have the dimensions of the rack you will find a more experienced folks with a right hand drive solution.

Good Luck!

The folks at Flaming River make a right hand drive rack so give them a shout and see if it will work.
