Steering column mounted at an angle?

Hi, I have notice the steering column on our 1970 f250 is mounted at a slight angle so it's not directly in line with the driver. Is this normal? It points slightly towards the drivers door. It doesn't seam correct to me?

Answering my own thread, I see it is perfectly normal.
