79 F150 Traction Lok ?
I have a 79 f150 with a 9" rear end. It has a trac lok diff in it. Well a while back I went to snatch on a stuck vehicle with my truck and I heard a loud pop from the rearend. Well I took it out of 4wd and it wouldnt move. I put it back in and only the front wheels would pull. I figured I broke something in the rearend. The driveshaft would turn but the tires weren't moving. Well the other day I finally got a chance to tear into the rear end. Other than old fluid I couldnt find any thing wrong. So I tore it completely apart. Well still nothing broke. The only problem I can find is the clutches are shot in the Trac lok. My question after this long post is will the clutches make my rear end act this way. If not what could be the problem? Thanks in advance.

No.
Broken spider gears, broken axle, stripped pinion gear, broken carrier, etc. there should be something broken in there. Snap some pics and post them up, someone will spot it.
