I have a dumb question can I just the chunk out of my 67 and put it in my 72 it roars and vibrates real bad? They are both 9 in. setups. Thanks for any help Paul

The pumpkin itself will interchange just fine. However, your '67 (and most '68-'72 trucks) will have 28-spline axles. Some '72s, however, have a 31-spline setup. You'll just have to count the splines on the '72 to verify which it is, and use the appropriate matching axles.

i knew a guy who was teaching guys to drive semis. he would tell the new guys not to worry that they would make rubber gears next year.

yea they had one box truck that was an automatic. what junk that was. when it shifted you knew it.
