My F-250 4x4 has the factory "push pull" power steering the one with the control valve on the link between the steering box and the arm on the knuckle.I need to rebuild it but I dont want to pull it until I have the parts so I would like ti find a seal kit for it does anyone have a source for said kit or will I have to pull it and disassemble it first and source parts from a hydraulic shop??
Any help would be very helpful.

Well after a lot of searching and a very helpful parts counter person at the Ford dealer in Prescott,AZ. who dove in to the microfiche to find the part number I now have the rebuild kit for the Garrison style control valve for my 4x4 F-250 the PN for the kit was up dated in '83 and is E3TZ-3A650-A the kit for the cylinder is D3TZ-3A764-A.The valve kit seals are all O rings + 4 steel rings with O ring groves in the OD and 2 springs so if you can't find the kit you might get away with just O rings that you should be able to source easily. When I do the rebuild I will start a thread with pics of the job.There is a aftermarket kit for the bendix control valve here's the link for it http://www.stangerssite.com/TruckCVparts.html

I pulled the valve out and apart today,and it is a very simple valve all the hard parts other than the springs are hardened steel and the ones in mine sho no signs wear that would affect function the two springs also look serviceable 
Any hydraulic shop would have the O rings,the only parts not easily sourced would be the lock washers for the end caps but with care could be reused or easily fabricated.So the Garrison style valve can be easily saved if yours is leaking.
I will post the pics in a day or two as I must do that late in the evening or early in the morning as my net is slow during peak hours,I will do it soon.
