1970 F100 heavy duty C4 tranny
Hello, I recently purchased a 1970 F100 with unknown back ground on the truck. An eBay find out of New Mexico. 302 with automatic, Ii got her running only to discover that the forward clutches were shot in the transmission. A friend of mine offered his services to put a rebuild kit in it.... Well it shifts fine though all the gears and is good n strong. However it keeps dumping or loosing pressure above 10-15mph.Then slipping, but will do a brake torque just fine... Any ideas guys?? Thinking maybe torque converter.. Changed out or checked valve body, governor and modulated... Any help would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like it may be the torque converter.
May your sails stay full, and your knots not slip. Unless a slip knot.
