WTB Dana 60/60 or 44/60 Front and Rear Diff's with 3.54's

Post by WestCoaster »

Hey all,
Im looking to upgrade my Dana HD44 Closed Knuckle to a later Dana 60 or maybe 44 from a later truck. I know the 60's get premium prices, but im on a budget and looking for a reasonable unit. Really what I would like is a matched set of front and rear diff's with 3.54's, So I can bolt in a go with minimal down time. I would also like to upgrade to disks, but it is not a necessity. Right now my 72 has 4.10's, she runs great but the Cummins is screaming on the top even in OD. The truck has 35's and still hasn't brought the R's down much. My Closed knuckle is getting tired, so I feel it's time to upgrade a little.

I am limiting my search to California right now. Close to So Cal, LA Area, but I am willing to go Nor Cal if need be. The Coast or IE. Even The Bay area...

Thanks Joe.

Westcoaster,

I have a full float Dana 60 rear with 3.73 in Norcal under my 67 F100. Original owner removed this from a 72 F250. It coming out of mine as soon as I am finished with the front anyway. Is this one helpful to you?

Thank you for the reply. Im looking to bring my RPM down about 400. The 3.54's look to do it. Plus I still need to match the front diff. I will have to pass.
