I am not sure of the proper part name for I am looking for.
The "rubber boot" or "dust boot" that covers the entry into the backing plate is what I need. The ones I have were dry rotted. This is where the cable enters the backing plate is covered to keep dust out of the drum area.
Anyone every replaced those? What did you use as a substitute?
Thanks

Re: Parking brake cable boot??
I didnt see them in the diagrams. Im wondering if oem cables came with the boot thing. Maybe a rubber hose would work..

Thanks 66f250cs, I'll give them a try. I'm just trying to find something to use with my existing cables.
