4x4 swap question

I'm wanting to build a 67-72 4x4 swb. What is the best and easiest way to swap a 2wd to a 4x4? I'm open for swapping body to new frame or swapping front ends. I Just don't know why year frames I can't do this with or what front ends with swap over to those year model frame. Thanks for any help and info!
