I'm sure someone here knows what toploader will do best behind a 70's 429 CJ? (specifics?) I was going with the ZF 5 speed but now am hearing that there's a lot of issues to deal with as far as starter issues, pilot bearing depth issue and flywheel balance issues. Now I'm thinking that just go with the toploader for that era and should have a lot less issues....
Any help?
What TOPLOADER am I going to need to look for?
