Parts Run

Post by themoldfords »

I am heading to the local parts warehouse (junk yard) this weekend, anybody looking for anything in particular? I will pull parts and ship them for a marginal markup if I find what you are looking for.

You do realize that shipping will cost a fortune on those large parts going from my coast to yours? Are you looking for 600 style fenders?

The fenders are for the f600 but not for a bumpside body looking for slick fenders. To bad we couldn't get a quote on shipping beforehand that would be the deal breaker.

Tim, if you find a black plastic boot that goes between the brake booster and firewall, I'm looking for one of those. Like the one in the photo in this post a little way down.

Ok. Thanks Tim. Let me know. I haven't put everything back together but it would be good to have that boot in there. Cheers, Patrick

Patrick, I wasn't able to get anything as all the parts I went back for were gone.

To everyone else out there looking for some parts. I just picked up a '68 F100 long bed, 240/300, 3 speed, column shift parts truck over the weekend. I will be removing some parts for myself and selling everything else off. Let me know what needs are out there. I will for sure be hanging on to the driver's fender and the bed. I should be able to get some good pics this weekend.

Blackwater,

When I picked the truck up it would not crank, I would want to be sure all those parts are in working order before I sell them to anyone. I will do my best to play with it Friday to see if I can get her running. I need to get the hood on before it rains anyhow.
