I'm running a stock Ford 6" front wheel, and I want to run a wider 8" replica wheel in the rear. I found these at summit with 4" backspacing......

Will these fill out the wheel well on my lowered '72, or do I need less backspacing?

Re: wheel vintiques question
Filling the wheel well is dependent on the tire ya use - not the wheel. Those Series 62s wearing 275/60-15s look good in the back of a lowered rig.
Say, those are the same that I have! I've decided to order a pair of 15x7s so i can run 235/60s in front with 275/60s in back. The one-inch rake should be perfect.

Re: wheel vintiques question
Thanks for the reply. I plan on running 275-60 on them. I was just looking at the old wheels that were on the truck, (early 90's chrome stockers) and they seem to be 8" with 4" bs with 235-75's on them and they seem to sit in closer to the wheel tub than out toward the bedside......
But I have seen several trucks on here running 8" wheel vintique rear wheel with 275-60, and it looks good, like what I want. I was just making sure they weren't running one with different bs that I couldn't find. Seems like that one I listed is the only 5 on 5.5 8" wheel they sell, so I should be good with the 4" bs.

Re: wheel vintiques question
The 4" backspacing is just right.

235-75-15 on 6" stockers up front, 275-60-15 on 8" Wheel Vintiques in rear.

** VERY NICE** !
I thought stock wheels were 5.5 inches wide. They're six?
What tires ya decide on?

Re: wheel vintiques question
Thanks!
Yeah, these are stamped 15x6, but when I was picking these out at the junkyard there was one there that was narrower.
The tires themselves I just picked up at local used tire places. The front pair are Michelins, Uniroyals in the back.
