So my Son got a jumpstart on my column shortening project. He did a great job cutting the Shaft, shift tube, and column to correct lengths but did not mark the indexing of the sift tube key ways or the linkage slot on the outer column. Does anyone have any info or pictures to help out????

That's going to be a tricky one. Here's some pics of mine. http://w.fordification.com/forum/viewto ... &sk=t&sd=a Looks like the bottom boss is about 10*-15* rotated to the left of the top. Probably going to have to stick it in the tube flange, slide it in the housing, slip the levers on and center it in the opening of the housing. Looks like, on the housing, the slots where the harness goes in the top and comes out the bottom appear to be centered with one another. The auto and 3 speed tube should both be located at about the same index.

Thanks Sarg, It's a start, and your pictures, as always are awesome . I Think your right, I may have to assemble it a few times before the final weld.

Well I Got it, I Think I Panicked a little, All I Can Say is look for the seam lines on the pipe. Pipe doesn't come out of the ground ready to go.
When they Manufacture it, there is a seam in the pipe, I lined those up and well it was that easy..
