Hello all! My name is Seth from Monmouth, OR, just outside of Salem. While I may be a new face, this site is far from new to me. I've owned bumpside Fords ever since I was 13 years old when I bought my first, a 1970 F250 camper special. At the end of high school I decided I wanted to go the 4x4 route and sold my beloved 70, to buy a 71 highboy. Through the time I owned both of the bumps I visited this site on many occasions. The information, the articles, the literature, the support... they all can't be found anywhere but this site. Many of the other sites I visited ended up having links posted to here anyways. Unfortunately, in order to pay for college and save money on my 45 minute commute to school each day, I sold my 71. To this day I regret the decision to sell her, despite the fact she tracked down the road at about a 10* angle. When I graduated school this summer, I saw the opportunity to once again become a bumpside owner and decided to sell my pickup and get back where I needed to be. Just this last week I came across a truck I couldn't pass up. The time, the effort, the care given to this truck couldn't be beat. I even went so far as to pass up a rare supercab dentside highboy in order to pursue this truck. While I may be a new face to this community, the truck I had the honor of buying is a familiar one. Thank you Heep70 for allowing me to carry on the legacy of your 71 Highboy and I look forward to all of the fun times to come! I can't wait to start participating in the forums here and sharing the progress as she comes!
