Toploader 4 Speed-Power Steering

Post by 69Ford »

Did any bumps with the Toploader 4 Speed come with power steering. Like to know I'm going to put a Toploader 4 speed in my power steering truck. I would Like to have the correct column. Thanks

I would try to find a column from a truck that came from the factory with a 4-Speed and power steering. The trans wouldn't have to have been a Toploader. Any 4-Speed equipped truck with power steering should use the same column.

The main difference in steering columns would be whether the power steering gearbox is a Bendix unit or a Ford (Saginaw) unit. Those two types of power steering boxes require different length columns.
