What has anyone done and did it help to get a better ride out of the 3/4 ton Bump? My 68 C.S. could use it. I would be happy with a lighter load capacity.

Re: C.S. ride
If you're running gas shocks going back to regular (non-pressurized) ones would soften it up a tad.
Don't run the recommended tire pressure, those high pressures are for max capacities. Myself, I run 40psi in the front and 45psi in the rear.
If you're looking for more you're probably looking at pulling a leaf or two from your spring packs.
To me, my bump rides soft, but obviously ride feel is relative. But I think of my '62 F100 4x4 and the '69 F250 2wd is a Cadillac in comparison.
