There is a left and right. I used the bump stops for reference.

Thank you. The reason I asked this is, I am having a problem with the steering. The wheel does not return after a corner, it just will continue in a circle. I was wondering if I screwed that part up. I never drove the truck before so I don't have a reference. I was wondering if the Caster is off, it's hard to check in my garage.

Another problem I've encountered is: I can't find front brake hoses that fit (except the old ones). Which after looking at the kingpin castings, those new hoses may fit if the spindles were switched. Crap, this is not getting any funner. Thanks for listening.

Kingpins are not side specific but I-beams are sure as heck side-specific. Sounds like yours are swapped... that's why the steering doesn't unwind.

Spindles&hubs - If I recall correctly, hoses are angled where they enter the backing plate.

Thank you Mr. HIO Silver. That King Pin business has been bothering me. The I-Beam are another thought. We got the brake lines in, we had to do a little modification. On the right side, king pin body. I went to three different parts houses and none of them had brake hoses the same as the old ones.

Back to the I-Beams, can I tell the differences by looking?

On the "no return steering" I am down to the power steering gear box. With everything disconnected, the pitman arm is very hard to move in either direction. Is that normal? it is a new remanufactured one, I have another one on order, it is guaranteed for life.

This is a pic I took of my I-beams while replacing my king pins and suspension bushings. These are for an F250, but your F100 should be similar. Notice the long pin. This is your steering bumpstop. This faces the rear of the truck. If yours are to the front, you are going to have to switch the I-beams side to side and swap the spindles to the correct I-beam. Sorry.

flyboy2610, my I-beams are on correctly, I just checked. It all seems to boil down to the power steering gear box. Thanks to everybody.
