shudder at take off
So I am unsure if this should be on engine or drivetrain form.I recently replaced my rear drive shaft after snapping the old one. I noticed the previous owner had the grease fitting facing the wrong way so i removed the front shaft and the output shaft from the transmission so i could grease them, then i put them back on. I just got the Tires balanced because some of the weights fell off. so the truck was running and driving real smooth. Then i noticed when i take off in 2nd (np435 tranny) it starts going ok then it shudders then its smooth again, and smooth through the rest of the gears. Thought maybe vacuum leak so i checked and replaced the hoses they were old, still wasn't it. So i adjusted the carb since its getting to be winter anyways it needed to be done, and that didn't help either. I am pretty stumped as to what it may be any input would help. Thanks

Got any oil leaking out the back half of the motor? Could be oil on the clutch assembly.

I've also had a trans input shaft seal leak into the clutch. 2 clutches before I found that one.
Due to the high cost of ammunition, you can no longer expect a warning shot.

I'm experiencing a similar problem. Sometimes I get a low whine mid gear.
