bounce sensation that was not wheel balance?
Anyone ever fix a problem on a F250 that felt like wheel bounce that was something else? Something like engine misfire, loose bolt, bad engine mounts, bent drive shaft, rear leave spring bushings, I am looking for anything that might have been overlooked by multiple technicians. I have replaced all rims, lug nuts, tires (new Michelins), radius arm pivot and end bushings, long tie rod, front shocks, and had front end aligned. Bounce is most pronounced above 60 mph on a smooth surface. Oh, I changed the engine and transmission from a 360 with a C6, to a 460 with a C6, and that didn't change a thing. This bounce started when I removed old Dodge 16 inch rims and 225x75, 16" tires for later model Ford F250 rims with 265x75, 16" tires. Obviously putting a great strain on something. Help!
