So came up with a plan... bought a HD radio tuner on Ebay (originally over 200$ - 40$ brand new)
using some used Bose computer speakers I had in garage and a milk crate:
Hooked up playing using a Sony PSP Go till radio arrives. Using 12 V off of the Cargo light switch to turn on/off. Will post more pics when done. Sounds very good! total cost is just $40!
