67-69 Hood Lettter O

Post by duaneo »

Folks,

Apparently my 71 F100 has a 67-69 hood. I ordered a set of replacement letters, to replace my O, but they are the wrong style. Can someone set me up with a 67-69 letter O for a reasonable price?

Thanks,
Duane

Letters received! Thanks Calfdemon!

I see what you meant about the mounting. I'll have to put some thought into how to get them securely attached.

Cheers,
Duane

Your welcome. Use the barrel clips that are attached to the pegs of the letters (along with some more if you have them). Push the barrel clips into the holes on the hood. Then put a drop of glue on each of the pegs for the letters and push them into the holes. They should hold no problem. They tend to fall out over time when they are put in without glue. :2cents:
