Power Steering Install
I knew going in that the Power Steering column was different but did not realize it would take so much away from the seat room. Is there any adjustments that can be made to increase room without cutting the column down?

Re: Power Steering Install
Hmm... Converted my friend's 67 from manual to power steering and did not notice anything different with the seat room. The wheel sat in the same place. What did you get your power steering column out of?
If you haven't already, read up in the tech section here about the power steering upgrade and see if there is a reason you have less room based on what you used... http://www.fordification.com/tech/powersteering.htm
I installed the power steering from my 72 into my friend's 67 and nothing changed, but I swapped steering columns as well. Did you swap your steering column or did you use the original manual steering column with a Saginaw box? If you did that, then your steering wheel is now 2 inches closer to you. Your best bet is to swap your steering column with one of the 69-72 PS steering columns as they will be 2 inches shorter. Otherwise you will have to shorten the one you have.
