Hey guys, I am wanting to replace all the suspension bushings in the front end to get everything all tightened up before I do any other suspension work. What bushings should I replace? Im just not sure what they are all called.
I have a 71 f250 automatic with a 390. Camper special with disc brakes up front and powersteering.

Re: Suspension Bushings
About the only thing you've got is the axle pivot bushings and radius arm bushings. Might inspect your rag joint while you're at it.

Re: Suspension Bushings
I did mine two years ago. I put in new urethane bushings from Prothane. The part numbers are: I-beam/axle pivot bushings: 6-604, radius rod bushings: 6-1207. I got then from Amazon.com, but they are available from numerous vendors. With urethane axle pivot bushings, you must reuse the original metal shells from your OEM rubber bushings. Just drill/grind/pull with your teeth the rubber insert out of the shell.
Here;s a write up I did when I did mine. If you haven't changed your king pins and they are feeling a bit loose, this would be an excellent time to do them as well. I don't know if the part number for your truck would be the same as my '69 F250CS, but the part I used was Moog 8524B King Bolt Set, also from Amazon. This isn't a hard job to do, just a bit time consuming.
