WTB: Bench Seat 1972 F250

Post by BigFoot »

I'm looking for a bench seat to re-foam and recover so that I'm not without a vehicle while I pull mine out to fix it up.
Let me know what you got!
I'm in Chicago zip 60618 But I'm willing to drive a few hours to pick up or meet.

Thanks!

Too bad you're not closer. I'd let you have my F100 bench for free, I'm switching to buckets.

To be honest, it's probably not worth what it'd cost to ship. I'm thinking in the $250+ range freight line cost. High cube/low weight throws it into a freight class that costs outrageous. The back was toast so I had replaced it with one from a dent side, IIRC. It fit but didn't have the right back stop gizmo. Since I sit all the way back I just let it rest against the back of the cab.

This place says it has one from an F250. May be a bit far from you but you could drive there cheaper. They don't list the price but might be worth a call.

Thanks for the offer! However, I don't know when I'll get around to it and how long it'll take. Right now I have a motor I'm rebuilding for it and then I have a lot of winterizing to do before I can mess with the seat. I'll keep it in mind.

Aw damn! Well I gave them to the guy at City Wide Engines on Milwaukee and Addison. I just said, "take these things out of my truck bed and see if anyone wants them".
So, give him a call. I'm sure he still has them. I told him I had them on CL for $50 and had no bites so he knows they arent worth much.

I'll give you a ring sometime to get a beer and talk truck.
