Which are the correct coil spring pads?

Post by JWW »

Sometimes I forget to label things correctly. I'm in the process of putting a set of 75' I-Beams back on my truck. I am going to use the 67' radius arms as they are in better shape than the 75'. I found both sets of coil spring pads, but I cannot remember which ones came off the 67'. Does anyone know if the rusted ones on the left go on the 67' or if the black painted ones on the right do? Thanks

Don't know about a '67 but the ones on my '70 looked the one's on the left with the down turned flanges and the flat spot that sits on the i-beam.

You want to use the rusty one on the left, it was the same back to 65, the cup or turned down part sets on the beam and the flat spot straddles the radius arm.
