The initial post about what was original about the pedals and state of the 'backyard' hydraulic clutch conversion on our 69 F100 has expanded a bit on this thread into the issues we have found as we've recently stripped out the T18 and inspected the clutch and conversion in the daylight. For background have a quick look at the photos on here http://www.fordification.com/forum/view ... =4&t=66346 and you will see what we are faced with.
Despite lots of searching I cant find anyone that sells a nice hydraulic conversion kit - I would have thought there would be loads of old F trucks just waiting for a good modern conversion.....
However NOVAK keep coming up and their webpages are very informative for Jeep T18 conversions.
Anyone on here used them for converting a classic F truck to modern hydraulics?
How different could the conversion be? Surely they ought to work OK? Do you see any issues?
I have emailed them tonight as I am getting pretty desperate now to get our truck out the garage and back on the road........... So ANY OTHER IDEAS preferably for an off the shelf solution would be appreciated. I'm based in the UK so I cant exactly get down to your local parts store to get this figured out and I don't want to be fabricating too much if I can help it.........
Anyone used NOVAK conversions?

I meant to give you the link to their webpages here
http://www.novak-adapt.com/about/about.htm
I found it a good site to get up to speed with knowledge about the T18 box, etc. and I'm sure some of their parts will cross over for use with the truck gearbox

hmm i cant help you with the original topic (novak) but that website is really good... lots of good info.
they would probably be the folks to talk to about the slave cylinder setup. If you don't want to make your own.
as far as the master cylinder goes, you'll probably have to adapt it yourself. You can probably modify what you already have to work, here is a good forum thread on FTE that shows the master cylinder being mounted...

this is the same tack i'm planning on taking with mine in the next week or so here.
