A few of my instrument lights went out, so I thought I'd just replace them all. First, I ordered some from one of the online Ford parts sites, but when they arrived, they were the wrong ones. Next, I went to the local parts store and bought some, but when I got home, here again they were wrong.
I looked in a Ford Truck Master Parts List Catalogue next, and came up with C3AZ 13466B for the part number. But when I ordered these they're huge, like out-door Christmas lights.
Does anyone know either the correct part number, or is able to steer me to a place that sells the correct bulb? These are the small, flat bulbs that slip into the black twist-in connector.

Here's a list of the bulbs in our trucks. Clicking on it should zoom it enough to allow you to read it. All of the bulbs in the instrument cluster appear to be 1895 types. The cigarette lighter and the brake warning light (above the parking brake release) need a 1445 bulb. I think everything else in the dash needs an 1895 bulb. Not sure about the cargo light switch but never had to replace it.

But, you might have a later instrument cluster that my '68. The 1895 bulbs have bayonet type metal bases that are brass or silver colored.
When you say, small, FLAT bulbs, do you mean the push in bulbs with a glass base? If so, it could be that you need 194 type bulbs. Check Autozone, Advance Auto Parts, etc.

Believe me, my young friend, there is nothing - absolutely nothing - half so much worth doing as simply messing about in garages. (Apologies to Kenneth Grahame.)

If you do need the glass based, wedge types bulbs, check out these LED replacements:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/311028387541?
The same seller has many LED versions of the 194 bulbs.
I haven't tried anything but his LED versions of the 1895 bulbs so I can't vouch for the 194 versions. But, at 43 cents each in lots of 20, they might be a bargain compared to the $2.25 to $2.50 EACH that Autozone, etc wants for regular bulbs!
