Anyone know if entire 1969 rear 4X4 rear drum setup from 9"ford will swap over to a 1979 ford 9".
Reason I ask I already have had all the hardware, shoes and drums for awhile.

The '69 rear end flange bolts (the 4 bolts on each side that holds the axles in and the drum backing plate to the ends of the axle tubes) should be 1/2" in diameter. They will require a 3/4" socket to remove the nuts.
There's a possibility the '79 rear end will have 3/8" bolts which would require a 9/16" socket to remove the (4) nuts per side. If the '79 drum backing plates have holes to fit the 1/2" bolts, it will fit.
